Flying from Hanover to New York? Forgetta bout it

Doing a random google search, I have learned that Lebanon's Municipal Airport (LEB) will no longer serve as a hub for flights to and from New York's La Guardia Airport (LGA). Known for some as a way to quickly but expensively (169+) get to New York (an hour flight with little security) as compared to the 7+ hour train and 6 hour + bus ride, the route will be replaced by a cheaper ($54) route to and from Boston's Logan Airport (BOS).

Personally, I have no clue why anyone would spend to fly from Boston with a car/bus ride of 2 hours and 30 minutes.... but then again, I'm no businessman.
